PaintingJim,

I note what you say about removing the fenders, and will tell my friend.

I'm really looking forward to helping with the prep.

I'll keep you posted.

  Michael,

Just make sure who ever paints it understands that the fenders have to be
split from the car or you get a paint line along the SS fender bead.

It takes a while and is the only way to get a good job. You will pay good
money for a job that will actually decrease the value in the long run.

Do it right the first time and it will save you money in the long run and if
he is a friend, it could save a friendship.

  Jim

  Jim,

It's taken me so long to get back to you in reply to your e-mail of May 9th.
The friend who said he wanted to paint my car called me yesterday, and said he
still wanted to do the work. If he keeps me waiting too long again, I'll get
back with you. Thank you.

  Michael

    Michael,

I am in the process of getting my 1959 BT7 repaired and painted. I am
using a guy in Roseville who is an old time body guy, very meticulous, he
mainly works on Hot Rods. It will be done in about 3 weeks and I am very
happy with the work he has done.

What do you need? Body work or just paint? Is it already disassembled or
all together?
