As you all know I am working on my 67 which was originally + grd.
I am making it - grd but I just ran into a problem with my NOS gas gauge
and my not quite correct 1500 gas tank and sender.
It works BACKWARDS!
The original 67 sender works fine, but it screws into the tank, but the
tank was perfed. I have a 1500 tank, the sender is of the twist lock
ring type, no screws. It works on a - grd gauge but those gauges have
the valance which is not right on a 67.
How do I rewire it to make it read "F" when the tank is full and not "E"
when full? It works but full is empty and vise versa.
Hey I already boiled out the 1500 tank and it's nice and purdy inside.
And it's the only tank I have. I will not spend $189 for a chinese made
gas tank. Chinese made and flammable liquid should never be together in
the same place.
