Ryan,

Air leak will likely be around throttle shafts on carbs. A little carb cleaner
sprayed on outide and around intake manifold will show you where there are
air leaks when engine is running. Idle speed change will happen when leak is
pinpointed. Keep that fire extinguisher handy just in case.

Bumper irons/frame does go up at the ends. Designed that way. Take the bumper
off, looks better without it on both Spridgets and BE's. They don't do
anything anyway in terms of crash protection.

Radiator 4 bolts gets it out. 2 of those bolts are absolute bastards to get
to. Water pump replacement, unless leaking/making nasty noises I'd lead alone.
Close clearances in getting radiator out, be careful you don't run fan int
oradiator on removing. Some favor removing 4 fan bolts, can I even get them
out of there? to increase clearance. Can't remeber if I can get out. Captive
nuts on fan shroud are a PITA and ofter are loose. Be sure to tighten
up/remove and replace with nuts you can put a wrench on.

Once you figure out the tricks, radiator can go in and out in a few
minutes. Toughest part is getting access to bolts. Removing the grille is a
necessity.
