Be forewarned!!! The windlass and seal BOTH are a bear to install. Install
the rubber using weather strip adhesive and lots of little clamps. Then plan
the spacing for the clips, install them, and then install the windlass with
small amounts of glue also otherwise the small clips wont be able to hold
the windlass. REAL PIA to not get glue on the cream windlass. If I was
going to go to the trouble of installing the seals and windlass the top
would be painted before hand. You only want to do it once as the seals and
windlass arent exactly cheap and I doubt if you could remove the seal
without tearing it. The flap which goes over the flange and under the
windlass is quite thin.
