Double check your fuel line also. It does get old, especially if you grabbed
a piece of non-fuel like in the past (me, me.) Also, the VW-style line with
the woven fabric cover can hide minor leaks. This can wick thru and be very
hard to locate without replacing all such line. ...bill in oregon

Do you smell it when you have a top on? Could it be coming from the other
direction? Maybe a small leak around the filler neck? Or at the pump?
