Biff,

Sounds very much like a Kerosene burner (Paraffin in the UK). Be extremely
careful using it...  Those things have a big risk for CO poisoning as well
as the fire risk.

As to turkey season, just go through the list names. You should be able to
limit out online...    ;-)
