I use Castrol Superclean, not that other cheap copy of the purple stuff,
Wal*Mart has it in 1 gallon jugs, put some in a spray bottle, soak down
the engine, get your old toothbrush and scrub.
Tough spots or thick stuff need a scraper, wire brush, or just the edge
of a screw driver.
3 or 4 brushings with Super Clean will get rid of all the grease.
Any real tough spots, hit them with some brake clean or carb cleaner.
Super Clean will rough up your skin, use gloves. I have superclean hands
as I type because I supercleaned a greasy fan
but I held on to each blade as I wiped off the other blades, no gloves
and I know better. I was in a rush as usual.
