Good idea on the various bolts.B B Ys it's a ribcase and yes I ordered a
pilot bushing. I'll look into the rubber bits you mentioned too.B Thanks for
the suggestions.

Did you order a clutch pilot bushing?B Check your ring gear condition. Check
engine back plate for cracks. New bolts for mounting the tranny is a good
move. Sounds like you've got about everything else. Don't forget to disconnect
the clutch slave cylinder and the ground strap. You might even want to replace
the rubber plug on top of the tranny (ribcase, right??) and the rubber boot on
the clutch arm. New clutch bolts to the flywheel are always a good idea. These
aren't hardware store stuff.

Cheers!!

As you know from previous posts, I'm preparing to pull the engine and tranny
because my clutch decided to crap out on me. B I've started the process by
removing the grill, and draining the radiator. B Also have some of the hoses
off (Frank, I know that would be about 5 minutes wirth for you...) Will
remove
the radiator and send it to a local shop for whatever it is they do to ensure
good flow.

Anyway - I have ordered all the clutch bits as well as a pair of motor mounts
and an exhaust donut. B My new silicone hoses from Daniel will be here at
some
point. B I also ordered an oil pan gasket and another valve cover gasket.
B Ther
is also the waterpump I've had sitting on the shelf for a while. B Might as
well install it while everything is out of the way.

Are there any suggestions for other bits I should have on hand that usually
need replacing once you have the lump out? B Rear main seal? B Tailshaft seal
of
any kind? (not even sure there is one)

Thanks,
