Sort of both unintended acceleration which was the cause of the
*intended* deceleration.
Ironically a Toyota Land Cruiser, the old ones, going up hill the engine
slid back and caused the throttle to stick, My buddy who was the
owner/driver would aim the beast at a pole or tree and ram it. The
engine would slide back where it belongs and the throttle would settle
back to idle.
He knows what the FJ stands for on those things. ;) This was back in
73, looks like some things never change.
