i meant on the production line. Supposedly they often did not clean the
sprayers to well before starting the next color.

but apparently tat could change depending on what color was painted before that
and how far was your car painted from the color change.

According to the website, for 1500's:

Glacier White (BLVC59) Until Aug '77
Leyland White (BLVC206) Aug '77 to June '78
[3] Porcelain White (BLVC243) June '78 on

3. Porcelain White was also known as Ermine White or Leyland White.

So, yours is most likely Leyland White (BLVC206), but could be Glacier White
(BLVC59) if it was produced prior to August '78.

How can I tell if I have "Glacier White, " "Leyland White," or "Porcelain
White?" Is there a specific number in the VIN? Mine is a 78 manufactured in
77.
