as it turns out the nut is 1B and 13/16 inches.B Thanks for your replies!!
the nut and slider bar at sears cost me $45
Now........this nut is tight!!
Please dont tell me it is reverse threads.B None of my manuals mention that
at all.
I have a piece of wood to stop the shaft from spinning. Soaked the nut
overnite in penetrating oil.
the slider bar should give me more than enough leverage and my stomach hurts
now, but still no budging!
Keep soaking with oil, keep trying to loosen it slowely?
Are the thread reversed?
