Be careful with that press. 50 tons is a lot of force. Be extra
careful if the press is from Harbor Freight. HF presses are entirely
usable, but divide the rating by 2 and be more careful. I use one
frequently. I have used Snap-On and other name brand presses and they
are WAY better in quality. Wear safety glasses and try and keep a
large part of the metal side of the press between you and the thing
being pressed. Good luck.
Good used axles might be easier, cheaper, and safer, unless things
have changed lately.
