For months I planned to transport one of Alan's fiberglass bonnets home on the
roof rack of my Ford Explorer. Little did I know how that odd shaped sail
would turn the Explorer into an ill handling piece of crap around 65-70 mph. I
can almost hear the exploder jokes already.

I'm just glad I didn't bring a bigger car, or a truck this year. Several
times I caught myself looking at something and thinking "I'll offer the guy
$xx.xx for that and I bet he'll take it, before my mind moved to the next step
in the process: You're gonna get it home HOW? Funny how you don't really need
stuff that doesn't fit in what you happen to be driving that day ;)
