Greg, Dot 5 to Dot 4 is a NO NO!!!

Dot 5 will not damage your paint as will Dots' 3&4 but the 
combination of the two will rot ALL your rubber and leave you with 
problems.  Suggest you bleed all the lines and get the Dot 4 out of 
there a quickly as possible.  If you really want Dot 4, all 'soft' 
part MUST be replaced.

PS: Still have sponge after 5 years and I got the Dot 4 out in 24 hours.
