No problems with the floats that I know of. I did just have to buy a new
needle 
(and bowl gasket) for my Honda 400EX quad due to ethanol, though. The
float 
needle in this carb has a pointed rubber end that seals against a metal
seat. 
The ethanol pump gas I've been running hardened the rubber to the
point that it 
did not seal. This meant that as long as the fuel was on, a
steady stream was 
pouring out. Probably not an issue while running, but
somtimes I forget to turn 
off the fuel when we stop on a ride and it's not
the safest thing to have gas 
pouring out. And you definitely don't want to
forget about it after loading onto 
the truck.
