Oh yea... Phillips and Posi Drive are NOT the same nor do they take the same
screwdrivers though most do use the same screwdrivers thus you see all the
buggered up posi drives:)

Same as using a cresent wrench on a bolts head instead of a wrench.  Both
work but one tends to screw up the part when pressure is needed:)

Hi.  I'm working on a bugeye and the owner wants me to replace the cockpit
srrounds screws.  He says they should be philips(posidrive) and I think
everyone I ever saw was a straight slot.  Could someone please tell me which
