You still have to watch the formulations even in diesel oils.  For
example... up until a few months ago, Shell diesel Rotella T 40 used to have
the proper 1200 ppm of ZDDP..  Now it has been changed and has only about 80
ppm of ZDDP.  They have also introduced diesel Rotella T1 40 which ain't the
good stuff.  Currently only the diesel Rotella 10W-40 has 1200 ppm of ZDDP.
You gotta watch them like a hawk!!

Here's some light (;-) reading for you on the impacts of E-10 and above in
our fuel systems. Please remember - our fuel systems are NOT sealed systems.
Water vapor can and does get into them whereupon phase separation occurs.
You be the judge.  I'm testing my fuel - way too many friends overhauling
their BMW K bikes due to gel ethanol in the fuel system.
