Never heard of this, but poking around the Material Safety Data
Sheets, I found it contains less than 5% of some ingredients Xylene,
Ethylbenzene, & Naphthalene and an undisclosed amount of Methyl Soyat
and other stuff to make 100%.

I pulled up the Methyl Soyat MSDS
(<http://www.doc.state.nc.us/eprise/products/msds/55-205msds.pdf>http://www.doc.state.nc.us/eprise/products/msds/55-205msds.pdf

) and found this stuff is used as a stainless steel cleaner/polish.
Poke around the MSDS sheets for each ingredient and try to figure out
how ethanol would be affected. MSDS for Methyl Soyat says: No hazards
anticipated from incidental ingestion or industrial exposure. Some of
the other ingredients in the Schaeffer Oil product are thought to
kill people (but only in California.)

It basically seems to look like a lubricant to me. Not sure how that
would decrease the harmful effects of ethanol.
