A well placed tap on the base flange with a hammer and blunt punch should do it. If not you may have to break it and chisel the pieces off. If corroded in place soak with PBBlaster or similar for a while. But, it shouldn't be that hard to dislodge. I assume you got all the bolts out. If not, do that first. Usually in my experience if there is a problem it is with the bolts and not so much the housing itself. |
