I work on the principle that ARP know more than I do so if they say use
their lubricant to make sure the bolt is fastened to the correct torque
(according to a torque wrench that's correctly calibrated, (at sea level??)
that's what I do.  I think the only bolts that get loctited on my Sprite
are the UNC ones that fasten to an alloy adaptor for the big brake disc
conversion.  I like to think the loctite is a seal between dissimilar
metals and also the fastening torque cannot be as high as I would like it
to be so that's actually my first reason for using it.
