First thing I did on both sides but neither moved. Eventually beat the =
pins and nuts so badly that I took the nuts off and the threaded portion =
on one side was bent. Plenty of room to get penetrant in there.

=20

I eventually just took the whole assemblies off the car for better =
access but still no luck.

=20

Didn=E2=80=99t try heat yet, but if I do that I probably should then =
replace the otherwise-good kingpins.

I loosen the nut until it is flush with the end of the stud and then =
whack it a good one with my hammer. =20

The tapered pins that lock the lower fulcrum pins into the bottom of the =
king pins. Nut and washer on the bottom =E2=80=93 taper requires them =
to come out the top.

=20

Removed the nuts. Soaked with Kroil. Neither one wants to drive out. =
A-arms and kingpin/rotor assemblies off the car already so I have good =
access to everything.

=20

I=E2=80=99ve dealt with this type of pin before but never had them so =
stuck. TC has them through the axle, but those are usually cooperative.

=20

Next plan is to MIG a nut onto the top of the pins to give me something =
to help pull them out, but before that is there any other trick to =
getting these out?

=20

This is a low-mileage, rust-free car. =20

Thanks!
