Doing the leakdown at TDC takes taper into account. The wear will be at the t=
op. We recently had an engine loose an exhaust guide completely on the grid=E2=
=80=A6like, gone. We blew the cap off the valve cover the irradiate was so g=
reat. You may have bent a valve a bit when the spring broke and you=E2=80=99=
re only seeing the effect whole running. I don=E2=80=99t know!=20
