I just want to tell you guys that this is one of the worlds truly great
circuits. Jump at
the chance if you can 'cause it will be a lifetime standout event. Just fyi,
the circuit
is about 6.2km long and probably has elevation changes of 200 or 300 metres!
The
lap record is 2:09 odd, set in '70 in a F5000. The 5 Litre touring cars now
do about
2:11.
High speed sweepers, tight declining curves, huge elevation changes and lap
time
probably around 4 minutes for a quick sprite on radials! The crowd will
probably be
greater than 60,000.
