As the Steward said, the corner workers said my line
was "established and controlled" when the stunning
Datsun decided to leave a little duct tape just in
front of my right rear tail light (I was entering turn
1, a right hander). Peter C. can testify, the Datsun
had, I think, 3 different kinds of tires on it. The
steward said he'd be on probation next year. Bummer,
but a fantastic weekend. I had the absolute time of
my life, even during the race when my tranny went
completely bye-bye and I had to drive one handed. See
you next year with some horsepower...
