Ok, another strange problem..
Jim/elmo, what am i doing wrong?
since i switched to the aluminum flywheel i have had 2 pressure plate
failures.
the present one (10 hrs old) was stress cracking apart. the old one cracked
right in half.
i am torquing it correctly with a cross pattern torque method. the clutch
itself looks fine.
nothing seems loose.
the aluminum flywheel (steel) facing looks skippy (blue spots) on one side,
what am i doing wrong?
bad borg/beck pressure plates?
