Amen, Rick! My wife and I had a '66 Corvette several years ago. It was a
fun driver and we used it as much as possible. I was amazed at the level of
anal retentivness that some Corvette owners took there cars to. They ceased
to be the fun automoblies they started out as and became objects d'art, to
be stared at, then rushed back into storage. Considering that most 'vettes
are 100 times more common than Tigers, I thought this to be rather foolish.
I have no sympathy to the fools who paid $50,000+ for big block 'vettes,
only to lose their shorts when the speculator driven madness collapsed. I
drive my Tiger as much as possible! Trailers are for horses!

P.S. As long as were on the topic of having repro parts built, anyone know
of a shop with the capabilty of building a functional replacement for the
radiator overflow tank?
Mine looks like a lead zepplin! I don't think it'll take any more repairs,
and it's seeping again. I wouldn't care what material it's made out of, as
long as it fit and functioned properly. b387000909.
