1965 Sunbeam Tiger for sale in S.E. Michigan. 289 V-8, early 5-bolt
engine. Holley 4 bbl, Weiend aluminum intake, headers, 2" exhaust,
Koni's, F&R sway bars, Roll bar. Car runs, but has been off the road for
14 years. Not a driver. Car needs considerable rust repair - rockers,
fender bottoms, dog legs, trunk floor, frame x-member, etc. Challenging
restoration or excellent basis for an Alpine conversion. Complete except
for orginal air cleaner, shifter (has Hurst short throw), fan shroud and
side chrome. No LAT options or hard top. (Please, no calls from the
Sun belt asking what rust is...) $2500.00/fairly firm, I'd rather not
cut up an original Tiger for parts. The car is located about 30 minutes
north of Detroit, near the Palace of Auburn Hills.
Also loads of Sunbeam parts, Alpine and Tiger, (not included with car).
Rechromed bumpers, headlight rims - NOS and used, trim, gauges,
consoles, soft top frames, glass, heater cores, switches, winshield
frames, etc. etc. E-mail with wants or look for list posting in a
couple of weeks. (Sorry but no Tiger air cleaners, LAT, clocks, visors,
threshold plates, NOS sheetmetal,...)
