All,
I'm putting a 302 into my early Tiger. I have a bellhousing that works
with my new toploader and bolts up to the block but I am having trouble
finding the correct rear engine plate.
The block is a D4DE casting, the bellhousing is a C5AZ. The closest plate
I can find is a D9ZZ but the bottom has a bent over edge that I will have
to cut off to get it to sit flat on the front of the bell housing and even
then the holes along the bottom won't line up.
All the bellhousing to block holes line up as do the the starter motor
holes.
Any suggestions as to the correct engine plate to use?
