OK, Soft Tops---------------
I haven't installed, nor do I like the Hartz cloth tops. They are harder to
install properly, and they weather faster. AND---they are not ----Ah-hm
ORIGINAL.
On to the tops-----The last one that I got for the Tig was from Sunbeam
Specialties and the one before from JC Whitney, both looked, as was said,
much of a muchness; 'course the one from SS was in Tan (looks great- hope it
lasts a long time).
Easy to install----simply follow the instructions! And DON'T CUT ANY MATERIAL
OFF 'TIL YOU ARE SATISFIED WITH THE FIT!!!! You can't put it back.........
If you have never installed a top, set aside at least an afternoon...
Oh yeah----wrinkles.........use a hair drier to heat the top after the
installation. Be gentle and don't put the heat all in one spot, but the
material has to get hot; your wrinkles will disappear as if by magic! (Works
on headliners, too!)
There you go Herb.........!!!
Regards, Ray
PS Is Herb Mosley of CAT on the Net?
