Well Hank,

You should have heard the comments about the Carroll Shelby operation
with changing his heart valve. At what point, it was asked, does the
original person cease to be the original person, as more and more
“donor” parts are added? What about the discarded parts? Could they be
salvaged and used in another? At what point would the recipient of a
single individual‘s parts cease to be himself, and become the other?

What a conjecture! I believe the same logic, and ethics, would be
discussed about the swapping of car parts.

What do you think? Is this a morals question or a technology issue?
