Stu,

Yes, the inside top of all the Alpine & Tiger gauges had the light blue
paint.  In regards to the Lucas 30/30 amp gauge, all the ones I have in my
cars and a few used ones (two types, early with white pointer and later with
red pointer) have rear bulb holders.  Is the body of your amp gauge plastic
or metal?
