I don't know about reproduction jackets.  They may devalue the original
ones.  Perhaps if the reproduction jackets were marked in some way to
distinguish them from the original.......is there a way to distinguish
the zipper rivets from the original and is there any federal or state
laws if you replace the zipper in the jacket????

This is highly suspect.  Has this jacket been TAC'd?
