Ralph (or Jay whichever it is),
I give up. I can't seem to recall any mocking answer I gave to anyone
about a legitimate car question. On the reference thread there were
questions about a cap that wouldn't blow off. I responded, personally,
to the questioner about the Australian Slouch Hat I have, and he replied
that he liked the idea, and is looking for one. While others answered
with equally acceptable Tilly hats, horse riding caps, and deerstalker
caps, all of which are valid, if not as elegant. A couple of references
(not mine) were made to duct tape, and I wouldn't think anyone was
offended. We did get a reply about a clown to follow behind. I followed
that one up with an expansion of the concept, which I do hope everyone
enjoyed. I can't, for my best efforts, recall NOT answering a question,
even if it weren't car related, or mocking anyone's question. If I did,
I apologize. If I didn't, then what are you referring to?
