Bill and Carol,
1) The tops for Alpine and Tiger are the same.
The exception to this is the "wrap-around" rear window top that only
fits Alpines prior to the new Tiger/Alpine series.
2) They did differ in rubber design from early to late "soft" boot.
There were two small holes in the bottom inside rear to attach to the
soft boot. In addition, the rubber seals around the bottom edge of the
back were a one piece design, rather than 3 flat pieces, and the corners
were smaller.
I know this, because I have a latter top on my early Tiger. Fit's fine (
more or less).
There was also a change in the size of the "button" on the perspex rear
quarter windows to lower the load.
