I've had hard plastic bushings, Delron or Teflo, on  on my Tiger for about six
years and 12,000 miles. There is no noticible deterioration in harshness, even
in our lousy Michigan roads, but there was a great improvment in steering
feel. Also with the old rubber bushings, I got wheel induced vibration at
about 70 MPH, but the stiffer bushings have driven that frequency out of the
possible driving range.
