Burp!
That's right Burp! My brothers and I have found that if you will use a
floor jack and raise the front of your car while it is running you can
cause it to burp. There is an air pocket at the back of the block that
causes problems on an incline. While you have the front end raised
makesure the cap is off the radiator (or tank). Let it run for quite a
while 15 or 20 minutes. It will burp and you can put more water or
coolant in the system. You may have to do this several times.
this really works and you can force the air pocket out eliminating the
overheating problem.
