Though it is possible to remove the trans by itself from the bottom, it is
not a job for the faint of heart and is best limited to cars that are not
cherry anyway. If some scratching & maybe some denting of the underside of
the trans tunnel will break your heart then you had better take the whole
engine/ trans assembly out. Top or bottom? thats another discusion.
