I have an original (real old, anyway) series V tonneau cover that is shorter
than what would be required to stretch to the defrogger vents. If yours is the
same length then I'm guessing that it won't fit.

One of the PO's of my Tiger re-skinned the dash and did not reinstall the
lift-a-dot studs on the dash (mine's a mk1A), as well as filling in the holes in
the doors (thanks, buddy). So sometime this winter I have to the
poke-the-pin-from-under-the-dash thing to figure out where they went. I have
some Alpine V doors that I will measure to figure out where the door studs go.
