This is a follow up to my earlier posting on GT car etc. In it I provided
some incorrect information on the number of Tiger GTs produced. The correct
information is as follows:
The total number of cars produced from the gitgo as Tiger GTs was 15; i.e.,
these cars had JAL numbers beginning with 575XXX. In addition, it is believed
that there were 3 "AF" cars converted from Series IV Alpine GTs; i.e., cars
which had SAL numbers beginning with 375XXX. Therefore, if the 3 AF cars based
on the Alpine GTs are included with the production Tiger GTs, the total number
of GT Tigers is 18. If not, the number is obviously 15.
