Back in the sixties my friend (navigator) and I were returning from a national rally in Michigan to southern Indiana. The throttle cable broke. Didn't have tools to fix it but had some strong twine. Ran the twine from the carb. to the driver and drove a few hundred miles to home. Quite a squirrly ride, the twine didn't work very smoothly but it worked. Still have the Tiger but don't do that stuff any more. Larry |
