Larry Atkisson, among others, is a proponent of the Centerforce clutch.
There used to be a picture and some info on the particular model he likes
at the Rootes Group (Norm Miller) Web site, but I think it's gone now. I've
driven a couple of Tigers with this clutch and it is definitely easier to
operate than my own. It is very similar in design to the clutch used in the
5.0 GT Mustangs. I don't know enough about the details of the design, but
I'm pretty sure you can shift at high rpm with it, otherwise there would be
plenty of complaints. Since I was driving someone else's cars, I didn't try
a high rpm shift myself, but I'm sure there are several on the List who can
give you their first-hand experience.
