Armand,

Sorry, O.M., but "the Palmer" is absolutely correct,
assuming you haven't changed the brake cylinders.

Force = Pressure times Area.

If you even look at the units of measure, Force is Pounds
force, Pressure is pounds per square inch, and area is
square inches.  Hence Force is decreased (pedal 'pressure'
or leg force) if the piston area is reduced the hydraulic
pressure is increased, as is the distance the pedal moves,
by the way.

Sorry,  I know this may run counter to your intuition, but
the physics is correct.
