You must not use American DOT-3/4 brake fluid. It will
react with the rubber seals in your system and destroy
them all, from the master cylinder through the calipers
and wheel cylinder, and all point between. This warning
also applies to the clutch.
I don't understand the big deal with LMA fluid. I was at
the local parts store yesterday and he had an ample
supply on his shelves.
Is this 'shortage' another one of those great ideas that
the California EPA nuts are blessing on the rest of the
country?
I personally went to silicon and have had not problem.
