Steve, very interesting info on the manifolds.  I also called Edlebrock,
9 months ago, and spoke to a tech rep.  I asked him if I should keep the
F4B or switch to another manifold.  I told him I wanted torque, and
would not see over 6000 rpm.

He said keep the F4B as it was good from idle to 6500 rpm.  He also
offered that it would not out perform the Performer, since it was only
good to 5500 rpm.

I have a tendency to believe your VP, instead of the tech rep, who knew
said he knew of the Tiger.
