I strongly advise joining CAT, TE/AE, or STOA and purchase their
tech tips, which address most of your questions.

(1) Of course the Tiger came with a jack and lug wrench
which is held by clips on the trunk floor in front of the
battery. You'll see them for sell in the club newsletters.
Tool kits are very scarce and you'll pay a lot for one.
(2) The Tiger has a nice wooden (plywood) trunk deck that
is covered by pebble grained. Look for the deck in a
newsletter. Vinyl replacement kits are available from SS.
(3) The throttle cable has been known to break at inopportune
      times. Carry a spare.
(4) The electrics are Lucas. In spite of its reputation if you
keep everything by the book you should be OK. Varying]
or rewiring by 'experts' invites disaster. Remember the car
has only two 35 amp fuses (Switched and Unswitched). Be
careful. Be glad you don't have an Imp. It has no fuses.
(5) Tigers and Alpines don't have a glove box door. Its for
gloves. The console with its lock is used for valuables
(6) Traction bars are available. But its a big subject. Read
      the tech tips.
(7) Brake booster fail easily. Buy and carry a bypass.

Keep reading the net. You'll learn quickly. Then you can
help us with your experiences.
