Stu, Larry

You have it all wrong. The majority of the Tigers (or any other older classic)
that is still driveable and restorable are still in California. Yes, you hear of
the ones heading East because of sole source supply.

What you don't realize is that those are the few. The MANY that are moving out
of
California are leaving by airplane and boat and they are not headed towards U.S.
territory. I know of plenty of exporters on the West Coast shipping good Tigers
and Cobras (amongst other good cars) to New Zealand, Australia, Japan, even
England.

We are being drained of our rightful national natural resources (foreign sports
cars) at an alarming rate. With the burdens placed on importing some of the
newer
models by our pollution laws, we aren't getting the new replacements either.
How
many Morgan V8's (unconverted to LPG), MG V8's, and other nice products can't we
get?

Look forward to driving your General ChryslerDaimler Ford Motors electric car
(assembled in Kentucky from Chinese parts) with 15 different grill ornaments to
distinguish the make, any day now.

There is already a group trying to get bills through to make us scrap all older
cars, regardless of condition or value, here and now.

Steve
