Listers,
The stuff you want is manufactured by 3M and is a clear transfer that is
used as a chip protector and scuff surface. It is available from most
autobody supply stores and you could check with any of our vendors listed at
www.sikkenswest.com <http://www.sikkenswest.com>  in the supplier/vendor
area. It is broken down into the west states. You just cut it to shape and
stick it down with a solution of water with 15% isopropyl alcohol to allow
you to reposition to the exact spot you wish. Use a squirt bottle and CLEAN
hands as the material is clear (it will show finger prints) to stick it
down. Squeegee out the water from underneath as well as possible and the
alcohol will help to "carry" the rest out through the transfer membrane.
