Guys,

The problem I had with the clear sight plugs was, after you couldn't see 
through them very well, they had swollen and it was next to impossible to 
remove them without damaging the threads. This was probably a diabolical 
scheme on the part of Holley in order to promote the sale of new float 
bowls. It is well known that DR's swell upon exposure to gasoline too. When 
fully tumescent, you can light their fuse (also know as a tail), and they 
will explode in a spectacular fireball. This type of incendiary device is 
know as a "Shanghai Rattail".
