I just got back from the body shop and pulling the
engine. It was easy to pull all the bolts from the
bottom of the car when it was up on the scissors lift
(Excellent for under access). THe only problem came
during engine removal time. I went out the bottom,
but the scissors lift was in the way. After much
jockeying with 2 floor jacks and going up/down repeat,
I finally got it out. The casualty...... drivers side
exhast pipe. When I was raising and lowering the car,
I bent the exhaust at the passthrough. To speed up
the pulling process (And since I just created a highly
restricted exhaust, I cut the exhaust pipe off. Who
makes a good drop in exhaust?
Where did I go wrong with the "out the bottom"
Technic? I have stock manifolds, no headers. I
thought I could pull without removing the exhaust.

Thanks,

Chris
