Hi Listers,
Been working on the Tiger and found some things that need done. Going to
need to repair a brake line from the MC to the Booster. Leaks at the fitting
on the booster. Second problem I could use some help with. I have a vacuum
leak somewhere on my Holley 465 carburetor. Put a new gasket on, then
started checking the vacuum fittings to see if any of the caps were leaking.
After capping all the vacuum lines I could hear the leak. Tracked it to the
choke heat tube. My question is where is the vacuum coming from? I assume my
choke plate is pulled partially open by a vacuum actuated piston and lever
assembly. But, how is the vacuum from the piston getting to the heat tube
connection? Any help is appreciated.
